Product & Delivery Policy – Island Vibes Bags

At Island Vibes Bags, we take pride in delivering high-quality, authentic Jamaican products beautifully packaged and presented for your guests. Please read the following policies carefully before placing your order.

Product Sourcing & Authenticity

  • All items (excluding packaging such as gift bags, tissue paper, ribbons, and jute bags) are products of Jamaica, sourced from trusted local suppliers.
  • We strictly observe product expiration dates. No expired or compromised goods will ever be used in your order.
  • Due to the nature of handmade and artisanal goods, slight variations in color, texture, or presentation may occur and are considered part of the product’s unique character.

Substitutions

  • In the rare event an item is unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute with a product of equal or greater value while maintaining the overall quality and theme of your order.
  • Substitutions will always be in keeping with the style, purpose, and flavor profile of your original selection.

Order & Delivery Timeframe

  • A minimum of 14 days is required between the date your order is confirmed and your scheduled delivery date. This ensures we have sufficient time to source fresh products and prepare your gift bags.
  • Orders requested with less than 14 days’ notice may be accommodated at our discretion and may incur an express service fee (currently Expedited service is not available).
  • We will contact you at least 48 hours in advance to confirm and schedule a delivery or pickup date and time.

Delivery & Redelivery

  • Delivery is made directly to the host/client (or their designated recipient) at the agreed resort, villa, hotel, Airbnb, private residence, or event venue. We do not deliver directly to individual guests.
  • A specific delivery date and time will be agreed upon in advance.
  • If the recipient or an authorized representative is not available at the scheduled delivery time, a redelivery fee will apply.
  • Delivery fees vary by location and will be confirmed at the time of order.

Pickup

  • We offer Free Pickup at select locations across the island.
  • Pickup locations and availability will be confirmed when scheduling your order.
  • Please arrive at the agreed pickup time to ensure your products are fresh and ready.

Acceptance of Delivery

  • Upon delivery, the host/client (or authorized representative) must inspect and sign to confirm receipt of the order in good condition.
  • Any concerns regarding damaged or missing items must be reported immediately upon delivery. Claims made after delivery has been accepted may not be honored.

Storage & Handling

  • Once delivered, products should be stored according to the instructions provided (e.g., refrigeration for certain perishable items).
  • Island Vibes Bags is not responsible for spoilage or damage to products after delivery if storage and handling instructions are not followed.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Orders may be cancelled for a full refund within 48 hours of placing the order.
  • After 48 hours, all orders are non-refundable as products and packaging may have already been sourced and prepared.
  • Refunds are not available for custom or personalized items once production has begun.

Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for delays or non-delivery caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, or transportation issues.

Business Hours

  • Our business office hours are Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, except on Jamaica public holidays.
  • Delivery and pickup dates and times vary based on location and availability.
